According to James Lovelock we are all doomed, that global warming is completely irreversible now. He claims that by 2100 about 80% of the human population will have been wiped out and that we are only about twenty years away from parts of the globe being too hot to inhabit or under water. He predicts that Britain will become a lifeboat for refugees from mainland Europe. Scarily this is a respected scientist, whose predictions have come true before.
