Inside Burma


In this article Adrian Levy and Cathy Scoot-Clark examine the current poitical and economic landscape in Burma. It has some very important themes regarding economic development, not least that any gains have not been equitably distributed. In Burma, according to the IMF's excellent datamapper (click here), GDP per head is a little over $5; in the UK it's a little over $36,300.
