Forest Economics and negative externalities

This article is spot-on for those studying negative externalities.

That means you Year Eleven!!

It discusses how loggers only take into account the value of the wood, but it does not take into account the value society puts on clean air and reliable rainfalls which everybody wants but nobody is willing to pay for and are a result of forests.

Forest also put the eco into ecotourism, prevent natural disasters and safeguard biodiversity.

Value to the world : £2 TRILLION!
