Helicopter Money


Imagine a helicpoter taking to the skies and dropping money into the prevailing winds.  This is some are likening the Bank of England's decision to adopt a policy of 'quantitative easing'.  The BBC's Paul Mason does his usual sterling job of explaining it here

There is so many interesting macroeconomic concepts being explored in the media now, especially monetary policy with interst rates now at their lowest point since 1951.
