Unemployment

A video from BBC here which examines the causes and costs of unemployment.  This highlights cyclical unemployment and looks at the costs of unemployment for many unskilled workers in the North.

There are a lot of long term consequences hinted at here.  The whole structure of Hull's economy is under threat when an iconic factory closes.
