Is it OK to ask for a clear definition of ‘standard of living’? If it’s just defined as how much income one receives or how much wealth one has (as it appears to be) then all this happiness stuff mentioned is irrelevant to the essay.

The internet didn’t really help me out…

Standard of living includes wealth , access to educaton, health, longevity and happiness. Despite what the Internet says. Use economist.com for definitions
