The Shape of the Recession

For Lower Sixth Economists considering GCP, Economic Growth and Business Cycles

There was much talk last year on what shape the business cycle might take.  some thought it would be like a Nike Swoosh: after the recession the economy would take a long time to slowly recover.  Others thought there might be a recovery, another fall and then another recovery : a 'W' shpae.
